Circa: 1920-1922
Fresh to the market, this beautiful print by Maxfield Parrish called The Venetian Lamplighter was found in October 2009 stored in a home in central Iowa.
This large print is in a period frame and measures 15.5 inches x 21 inches approximately (frame size) and the print size is 14 inches x 19 inches approximately.
The color is wonderful...a very deep blue...there is a slight crease in the center which comes down into the face of the one lighting the lamp, however, I barely noticed it until scrutinizing it for this description. I have not removed it from its frame. You see it in the pictures the way I found it. It would need to be removed and some light cleaning would need to be done. The inside edges of the frame do have some paint missing in places, but overall, a nice frame.
