Manufacturer: Unknown Brass horse decorations measuring 4 inches by 3 inches. These decorations became popular in the 17th century. They were used to identify horses. Sometimes referred to as pub brass because they were used to decorate the pub. I have seen them hung on fieplaces with leather straps, hung in small wall spaces, also put together with a horse painting to compliment it. These are thistle design. Buy one of buy two.
