Here is an original WWII vintage aeronautical chart for Charlotte. It was probably used for training pilots to fly in preparation for war. Depicts old airways, training routes and aeronautical navigation aids as well as radio broadcasting stations and radio direction finder stations. State of the art maps for the 1940's.

Map even carries the disclaimer that the information was not to be shared with unauthorized people at that time and some were stamped RESTICTED. (not necessarily this one).
Measures 47" x 24". Stamped Nov. 1941. Map is in good condition. Has the name of the previous owner on it. Small tear on seam, small hole on seam, heavier creases where folded, a little dirtier from use around the edges, some writing at the top. Printed by the US Coast and Geodetic Survey under authority of the Secretary of Commerce.
