Here is an original WWII vintage aeronautical chart for Norfolk. It was probably used for training pilots to fly in preparation for war.

Depicts old airways, training routes and aeronautical navigation aids as well as radio broadcasting stations and radio direction finder stations. State of the art maps for the 1940's. Map even carries the disclaimer that the information was not to be shared with unauthorized people at that time and some were stamped RESTICTED. (not necessarily this one).
Measures 26" x 40 ½". Stamped Apr. 16, 1946. Map is in good condition. Has the name of the previous owner on it. Small rip on edge, a little dirty around edges, some wrinkling. Printed by the US Coast and Geodetic Survey under authority of the Secretary of Commerce.
