Leon Hale was a columnist for the Houston Post and a teacher at Sam Houston University. Bonney's Place was his first novel.
This is a first-edition signed by the author. The book shows slight wear a the edges of the spine. The dust jacket has some small tears and creases at the edges.
There is an inscription on the fly leaf that reads "To Nan - 4-24-72 Peggy said you liked Leon Hale - Effie"
