This is an adorable, absolutely mint, 1996, nine-inch Patsyette doll. She portrays "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and, to go along with this, she has a wind up mechanism in her back which, when wound, plays Mary Had A Little Lamb.
Mary is jointed and is made of a very hard vinyl. She is marked 1996 Effanbee on her neck and Effanbee // Patsyette // Doll on her back.
She has molded light reddish brown hair, styled in a bob. Her side-glancing eyes are brown and she has very pretty coloring.
She is wearing her original clothes which are in absolute clean, mint condition. Her underwear is made in one-piece, is white with printed flowers, and trimmed with lace. Her dress is of the same fabric as her undies and it is trimmed at the neck, sleeves, and bottom with a white edge trimmed with scallops in blue embroidery. The dress is also trimmed with ribbon. Over her dress, but attached as part of her dress, there is a lilac colored vest and peplum, which are trimmed with light blue ribbon. There is a large blue ribbon bow at her back waist.
Her cap matches her dress and is trimmed in the same fashion. She completes her outfit with white ankle socks and white slippers with ribbon bows.
This doll, being Mary, has her Little White Wooly Lamb attached to her wrist with a white ribbon. The lamb has black nose and eyes and feet and white ears. He also wears a ribbon to match her shoes and dress.
This doll has her original white effanbee doll stand and her gold-colored, heart shaped, paper Effanbee label. She is absolutely mint, but does not have her original box. She has been stored for all these years in a clean, smoke-free environment, away fromn the light, so there is no fading and there are no odors.
