3 Real Dropped Civil War Bullets found in VA
During the Civil War thousands of bullets were dropped in the heat of battle. These are 3 of them found in Virginia. You can tell these are original lead bullets from the 1860s because they have a whitish color called patina that cannot be reproduced by modern copies which are shiny and found in gift shops. Glass Medical Cupping Device, A bleeder
This is an antique glass cupping devised used during the Civil War. . It was primarly used to bring the blood to the surface, a procedure used to produce bleeding from a small wound to further clean it. The glass cup was first warmed inside over a flame inside them in order to produce a vacuum which enabled the device to bring the blood to the surface. It has a polish potile on bottom Measurement: Heigth: 2 in. Top opening; 1 in. dia.
