3469
Amethyst Ruffled Compote A beautiful amethyst ruffled carnival glass compote that came from an estate in South West Alabama is offered for your consideration. The iridescent quality shows the facets of the pattern very well. This is a specimen piece with no chips or use marks of any kind. Compote measures 6" high on a 2 1/4" stem that rests on a 3 1/2" round base. The inside diameter is 6".

The detailing on the bottom of this piece makes it as pretty as the compote itself and has an interesting mark. The letter V is prominent with an interlocking letter G towards the bottom and the letter O centered between the two legs of the V (see photo).
