Plates – Salad - Set of 14 - Green Depression Glass For the collector of American Depression glass, here is rare find, a set of 14 salad plates, all in excellent condition, in the pattern of Poinsettia (Passion Flower) pattern made by Jeannette Glass Company. This company only produced this pattern for a very short period from 1931 – 1935, due to the depression.

Finding this collection of plates at auction was such a discovery for me as an dealer, having had the plates in my china cabinet now for years I am offering this set for sale. I will not break the set as finding a set of this many plates in this rare design is most unusual.

The plates measure 6 inches in diameter and again all are in excellent condition. For those who are unfamiliar with this pattern you will note that the pattern runs clear to the edge. The pattern of the poinsettia is a raised relief on the back of the plate.

American Depression Glass, here is a wonderful set of two luncheon plates, found
in the pattern "Madrid". Both of these vintage plates are in excellent condition, made by the Federal Glass Company. This pattern, "Madrid" dates between 1932 and 1939.

Using vintage Depression Glass, in compositions for a china cabinet or a Welsh dresser or placed "upright" on a plate stand allows natural light or artificial light to shine through the translucent glass highlighting its pattern.

Candle Holders Vintage Hobnail Green Glass Vases Candle Holders Vintage Hobnail Green Glass Vases; the pictures of this set of "candle holders" did not reflect the "green" color of the glass, they are not a deep rich green as found in some Depression Glass Dinnerware, but a soft shade of green.

Vintage in a style of "hobnail" there is so much character to this set of collectible glass candle holders. These small candle holder measure 3 3/8 inches high, the top diameter is 1 3/8 inches and the hobnail base is 3 inches in diameter, both unmarked and in excellent condition.

Again the detail to this set of small "candle holders" or "vases" is quite extensive, with the small hobnail design around the top to the fluting of the neck and the large extended oval glass in a raised relief to the large hobnail design to the base. Take a good look at detail there is a lot to see.

So perfect a size to add to those small places, the back of a commode, the pedestal vanity in a powder bath, the deck of a garden tub. The pieces are small but very heavy and weight is reflected in the shipping cost.
