Bowl White Pottery Serving Fruit Relief Raised White!!! Bowl White Pottery Serving Fruit Relief Raised White; we are selling this collection decorative white pottery bowl under our category of "Stray Dogs" a category where we offer a collection of item(s) listing for one price and always very inexpensive; to view the other items we have in "Stray Dogs" do a search in our store Alida Lois and browse our STRAY DOG Category.

You never know what you will find in "Stray Dogs" a collection of items; collections cannot be broken always $20.00 or less. Have fun and enjoy this category "STRAY DOGS", we are truly creating this for our Customers, it is all about antiquing and shopping for that "treasure" at a true bargain price.

In a sale of an antique store, I found this simply elegant white bowl so magnificent in the art of the raised relief of miscellaneous fruit, pineapple, bananas, grapes and apples. I love the use of white as an interior designer in a kitchen, it is so clean and sparkling, crisp, and it would certainly set off the "real" fruit one might store on a kitchen table or kitchen island.

This brilliant bowl measures as follows; 5 ½ inches high, 9 3/8 inches in diameter and the open diameter is 7 ¼ inches. The bowl is found unmarked and is in excellent condition with no nicks or chips. These bowls are very heavy and the cost of shipping is reflected from the weight.

Thinking of a gift for the Holidays, or the new home owner, or what about the new bride, with this bowl being white it would most certainly flow with any color of a home’s décor.

Remember when purchasing more than one item, we will be happy to reduce shipping & handling charges reducing shipping cost, shipping in one box, saving our customers money when possible.

Marked in two different ways as indicated in the pictures, the crocks "Bourne Denby Made in England", the saucers "Denby Stoneware", "Made in England". All are in excellent condition, with a very small nick on one of the edges of a crock.

This set would be so wonderful to add to your kitchenware, they would make such a lovely presentation in a china cabinet or on a Welsh Dresser. Think of warm soups like French Onion, a flavored bouillon, or rich seafood bisque served in these stunning little crocks. Made of stoneware these crocks are oven proof and can be cooked in, custard is another wonderful idea for these crocks.

Some History on Denby Pottery; Although the Denby Pottery was only founded in 1809 its history may be considered to have begun with the birth of Joseph Bourne in 1788, towards the end of that important half-century which saw the art of ceramics develop to an unanticipated degree of achievement in England.

PO28510068

Vintage Pottery Boxes Japan Pair Floral Bird 1940’s Vintage Pottery Boxes Japanese Pair Floral Bird 1940’s; we have acquired quite a few vintage Japanese pieces from an estate we purchased last year, here is a pair of charming "Trinket Boxes" found in wonderful condition and both marked "Made in Japan".

These adorable matching boxes, measures 5 ¾ inches long 4 inches deep and stand 3 inches high w/o cover, with the cover in place the boxes stand 5 inches high. Neither of the beautiful trinket boxes have any "cracks" or "nicks" found on them; however there is a very small amount of "crazing" to these two boxes that have taken place over the years. As you can see one of the boxes has aged with a brown patina and appears to be older than the other.

So delightful with the raised relief found in the design of these boxes from the "molded flowers" created on the top to "acanthus" leaf style design found on the corner and on the top of these boxes. Hand painted in a strong color palate of reds accented with flowers found in greens, blues, and yellows these Japanese vintage "Trinket Boxes" are truly stunning.

Vintage Japan Pottery and China is still so affordable if you find yourself attracted to these two "Japanese Boxes" think of starting a collection of Japanese Pottery and China, you can almost always count finding the vintage pieces being "hand painted".
