Picture – Signed – “Boats on Water” - French Limited I saw this piece of art and fell in love with it, being such a lover of the water and boats. I purchased it not knowing anything of the artist but saw so much value in the composition of this piece of art. The fact that it was a signed limited edition numbering only 41 out of a 100, and date ’93 adding value to this piece of art.

After my research on this artist, I grew fonder of this piece and my affection for this French artist grew as well. We have included some history on Joëlle B. Le Blanc the artist below.

The framing of this piece measures 17 ½ inches long by 14 ½ inches, the art work itself measures 9 ¼ inches long by 6 ¼ inches wide. The art is in excellent condition and the unique matting of this piece so enhances the art. There is a small chip in the glass of the framing at the bottom corner however no one would purchase this piece for the framing.

The coloring of this piece is so neutral in the shades of browns with just a hint of reds drawing the warmth out. This piece of art could easily float on any wall among a composition of other fine art.

Vintage Print African Tribal Leader Framed Signed! Vintage Print African Tribal Leader Framed Signed;as a collector of art, the dealer that I purchased this wonderful drawing of an African Tribe Leader traveled to Africa often and he and his wife would bring back such wonderful pieces. This is the same "art dealer" that I purchased the wine cork screw from handmade, the pottery, both the box and the cup and saucer all handmade by local Africans.

This wonderful drawing is of an African Tribal Leader, what region I do not know, This picture framed measures as follows; overall 17 ¾ long by 15 3/8 inches wide and the depth of the frame is ¾ of an inch. The print itself, measures 12 5/8 inches long and the width is 10 ¼ inches.

I love the fact that this drawing is done in black and white with no color added. The features of this man holding his pipe have such depth and character. The lines in his face, the motion in his eyes and best of all his representation of peace his hands are extended out reaching. Though I must confess I do not know much about African history, this picture of the Tribal Leader moral fiber is so instilled in this drawing by the artist C. Marsden Fruggins. The nature of this drawing is one that you could look at in length and study the spirit of this man.

As an interior designer I again love using the unexpected, I once had clients that loved antique furniture and art. Prior to beginning the design of the house the husband fell in love with a drawing of a large leopard. Not knowing how I would place this in the home he insisted that it be used and wanted to place it over the mantel of their fireplace. Wanting so to please the clients, we ended up collecting many different pieces of art from Africa, and English antiques, the home took on an English feeling at the turn of the century where men of society traveled the world including Africa being part of safari as part of their formal education called the "Grand Tour.

The back of one frame is marked Portfolio Collection, Oakham Rutland, England. I ordered these special from the artist in England and the client ended up having a boy and decline these prints.

Picture – Beautifully Framed –Grapes–Hand Water Colored This wonderful framed picture of "Grapes" hand colored in rich vibrant colors true of their species beautifully framed, matted and outlined in a gold filet, matted in a strong burgundy mat, this hand water colored print splendid. The hand water colored picture of the "grapes" is a reproduction of art originally drawn in the mid 1700’s.

The stunning gold frame beautifully molded, with brush strokes of "red" to accent the burgundy mat of this print measures in a square 20 3/8 by 20 3/8, the frame is 1 ½ inches deep. Pictures Pair – Fruit Peach / Plum – Gold Frame This set of beautifully framed pictures is ready to be hung. These prints of fruit, one of a peach, the other of a plum are reproductions of the late 1800’s when botanist studied the growth of plants and made such wonderful drawings of each stage of the plant’s life.

The frames and matting of these two prints are gorgeous, so much detail, the matting of these print done in a rich burgundy have a second cut in them highlighting further the prints. The frames gold, have a dusting on them giving them a sense of age.

The frames measure 10 ¼ inches wide and 12 1/8 inches high, the prints measure 5 ¾ inches high and 4 inches wide. Both are unsigned and found in excellent condition.

So wonderfully sized these two prints could go most anywhere not demanding much room they could easily stand along or be included in with other pictures to create a larger composition for a wall. Or as I have mention before in my suggestions, hang a decorative small china plate, like a bread and butter above these pictures to add interest and anchor them giving the composition more "weight". Vintage Poster St Simmons Island GA Anni Moller Framed Vintage Poster St Simmons Island GA Anni Moller Framed; if you are a native of Georgia and know her coastline you know of the beautiful island known as St Simmons. Here is a wonderful framed poster composed by the artist Anni Moller of a shrimp boat returning home after a day of catching shrimp. This wonderful vintage framed poster of St. Simmons Island, GA is now on SALE for a short time for $38.00.

This magnificent print has so much detail to it; take time to notice the slight rainbow in the sky the detail given to the boat, the frame itself reminds one of driftwood found on a beach.
