Glass Bowl Romania Hand Painted Grape Motif Vintage; this is a lovely bowl handmade and hand painted from Romania as marked. The bowl has so many details to the design I am afraid the camera does not do this piece of hand blown glass justice.
There is a slight fluting to the design of the bowl and the artist has brought that design to the top edge of this bowl. The vivid patterns of the leaves and "pink" grapes are hand painted with small relief to the paint itself.
This charming bowl measures 5 7/8 inches wide and is 2 1/8 inches deep. Hand made and hand painted from the country of Romania, this would be a delightful gift for a bride this spring. Found in wonderful condition and purchased from a local estate sale where the daughter advised me that her mother had this bowl protected and in her collection for years.
Place this exquisite bowl in sunlight, so many uses for this lovely hand blown bowl. Use this as a open candy dish, a relish dish at your next dinner party or the next time you are entertaining, use this collectible bowl to place nuts or mints in.
