Tray Silver Plated Rogers Company Large Oval Initialed; this Plated Silver Tray is very large and heavy; as you can see from the photos the piece is heavily scratched on the top and is reflected in the price for being a piece of "Rogers Silver Plated.
This vintage silver plated tray is now on sale for a short time for $10.00.
However the piece is such a beauty with initials being so in vogue now and this piece bears the initials of "MDWW". Made by F. B. Rogers and Company this piece measures 16 ˝ inches long and is 12 inches wide. The markings on this piece are as follows; "F Rogers and Company, trade mark 1883 and bears the number 1605 on the back. The original tag was adhered to the back and when being cleaned it became black.
Silver Plate is again so now affordable, and the uses for such beauty will add charm to any room in your home. Though the center of this large tray is starched slightly think of using this wonderful vintage tray to hold your toiletry items on your vanity. Or add a beveled mirror using the wonderful initialed edge of this tray as a frame; hang the mirror in a dark hallway to add light or on a powder bath wall.
