Manufacturer: Unknown/ Antique Antique Mixing Bowl Blue Primitive Pottery; this is a truly beautiful piece of vintage pottery; this lovely primitive blue mixing bowl shows it age and wear. Though this bowl is matured and unmarked you can feel the history of this bowl as you see the pits of the salted glaze.
This lovely primitive bowl measures 8 ¼ inches in diameter and 4 ½ inches high. I only wished this piece was marked.

I truly feel this primitive bowl has true age to it. Please note the small hair line crack on the outside rim. This hair lined crack is very small and does not affect the structure of this beautiful vintage bowl or its use. In our research we have added a note of history on Primitive Pottery for your review.
The color blue is always in "style" a traditional color that is always beautiful. Place this striking bowl where it can be seen filling this bowl with artificial brown spotted eggs or add this primitive blue mixing bowl to your kitchen counter to store your fresh fruit in.

HISTORY: used on many old farm houses where the main cook would mix or bake in these old crockery pieces and sometimes they would sharpen knives along the edge. These stoneware bowls were manufactured in the late 1890's to early 1900, just a nice old heavy piece of vintage stoneware.
