Vintage China Bowl Bavaria Antique Serving Pink Florals Large; we just acquired a new collection of fine china from another estate, in the collection there are quite a few wonderful fine china pieces from different manufacturers, this wonderful large vintage bowl, with wonderful motifs of large pink "mums", we think their mums are from the mum family with their numerous pedal.
Beautifully done, I have not seen a bowl or plate like this one, the large floral motifs are so large almost life size.

This exquisite bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and stands 2 3/8 inches high and the base of this bowl it 5 1/8 inches in diameter.

The lovely floral design has been accented with a rich gold tone ring found at the rim of this bowl and then again at the mid section. Marked as shown in the pictures below; "Bavaria", "PM", and the trademark of the manufacturer a royal crown, this bowl is found in excellent condition however there is a very small nick on the bottom of the bowl along the rim of the base we had to look very hard to even notice it.
Using fine china in your homes décor gives such an interest to a composition; this bowl would be stunning shown standing on edge using a plate stand in your china cabinet or on a open shelf in your breakfast room along with other vintage floral china. Each piece of china that is hand painted is a piece of art in itself, though similar motifs may have been done, being hand painted no two were exactly alike.
