Here is a wonderful vintage "Playing Card" Box with a raised relief dogwood flowers. Though this delightful box was made for playing cards, this little box would be a great accessory for a desk to hold stamps, paper clips, etc.
This vintage box measures 5 ¾ inches long, 4 ½ inches wide and stands 2 inches high and the inside depth is 1 1/8 inches. Most likely used when playing bridge was so in vogue for women this little box has been used and shows it wear as indicated in the pictures below. Though I think the "worn state" of this little box only adds to the rich patina giving age and warmth.
Another use for this vintage "Playing Card Box" would be to use it to store your keys in placed on a kitchen desk.
