Here is a wonderful vintage plate, hand painted in an "Art Deco" style with a strong yellow border accented with another green border and wonderful floral motifs all outlined in gold tones.
This plate made by the Japanese manufacturer "Seito" is in excellent condition and measures 7 ˝ inches in diameter. Marked "Seito Studio", "Hand Painted", and "Made in Japan" this superb vintage plate is in excellent condition and circa in the 40’s or earlier.

Collecting plates that are hand painted is such a wonderful hobby, being "Hand Painted" no two are exactly alike. I love the "Art Deco" feel of this plate with such a strong contrast of colors of the yellow and green a striking background for the delicate rose motifs found on this hand painted plate.
