Vintage Binoculars Field Glasses Astro Paris France Original Case; we have several sets of collectible binoculars / opera glasses recently listed, all made in France, many from Paris.
Here is a wonderful set of binoculars / field glasses found with its original leather case both in wonderful condition and the glasses are in good working condition.
The measurements are as follows; the leather strap when extended measures 27 inches long from the bottom of the case, the top of the case is 5 ¾ inches wide and 5 ½ inches high and 2 ¾ inches deep. The glasses measure 4 inches wide and 4 ¾ inches high closed. Marked as found in the photographs below; "Astro", "Made in France", "Paris" just a few notes that are imprinted on the glasses from the manufacturer.
This set of binoculars / field glasses are in good working condition and would be a wonderful accessory hung over the back of a chair or set within a bookshelf. If you are a bird watcher, keep this set of binoculars close to reach for easy close up view of the unique birds that might visit your bird feeder. Or if you are a true "birdwatcher" keep this pair of binoculars in your car.
