Vintage Box Hunt Scene Dogs with Handles Decorative; as a designer I so often use decorative boxes in a design application, seeing this wonderful box with the decorative porcelain hunt scene made me think of how perfect this box would be in a mountain home or retreat, perfect to "hide" the remote controls for an entertainment unit.
This vintage decorative box measures 11 ½ inches wide, 8 ½ inches deep and stands 5 inches high, the inside depth to this box is 3 ½ inches. The wooden box is wrapped in a well made man made leather stamped in a gold foil and has a hard white plastic insert to protect the box’s interior. The circular "Hunt Scene" found on the top is of porcelain found unmark this box is in wonderful condition, with only the protective fabric bottom having corners loosen.
Stand this box on it’s side on a book case to show off the traditional hunt scene or with it’s protective insert, it would be a perfect box to hold kindling in or matches for your fire place. Again so much design to this handsome box with the rich brown patina to the brass handles to the finishing touches of the stamped gold foil border.
