Basket Vintage Lid Round Large Sewing Button Vintage; did your Grandmother or mother have a "Sewing Basket"? or a "Button Basket"? When I found this basket at auction it so reminded me of the sewing basket my mother and grandmother had.
This wonderful round vintage basket with lid measures 11 5/8 inches in diameter with the lid, without the top 10 ¾ inches in diameter, 3 ½ inches deep and the base is 8 3/8 inches in diameter. Found unmarked this fantastic basket made of a "tight" weave with the lid fitting securely. Please note that the base of this basket has been made with "extra" support.
Baskets have so many wide uses for from storage to decorative the rich patina of this vintage basket would warm up any décor.
