Compote Pottery Floral Beige Blue Ornate Floral Motif; this fabulous large compote made of pottery with the aged patina and the magnificent blue floral patterns would so make a statement to the center of a dining room table, though one could use this large compote to place a silk floral arrangement in it, I would let the impressive blue floral motifs found on the inside of the bowl stand alone.

This compote is quite large and measures as follows; the opening of the bowl is 11 ¼ inches diameter the base is 5 1/8 inches in diameter the compote stands 7 ½ inches tall and the depth of the inside of the bowl is 3 ¼ inches. This piece of pottery is found unmarked other than the number "67" written in gold and the instructions "decorative use only, not for food".
Please review the pictures there are a few flaw in the glazing I believe and we have noted them in the photos. Purchased from an antique dealer who was closing shop this bowl is in excellent condition without any chips or nicks.
So wonderful is this piece and so decorative, the detail to the florals, the trim in gold to the rim of the bowl and the enhancing decorative little "gold bees". So many places one could use such a fine piece of pottery, let this piece stand alone on the center of a table or on a dresser in front of a mirror so that the beauty of this piece may be seen from all around.
