Chair Cover Crewel Needle Work Vintage Pink Floral Hand Made; vintage needle work, handmade is becoming a lost art from embroidered linens to other needle work like this vintage crewel pink chair cover; now on SALE for a short time for $15.00.
Purchased from a fellow antique dealer, we have no idea of the age, however it is found in wonderful condition measuring 17 inches by 17 ½ inches over all from edge to edge. The inside, the actual needle work measures 15 ¾ inches deep and 14 ¾ inches wide. Please note a small hole in the burlap on the corner that does not in any way affect the integrity of the needle work.
If this size does not "fit" a chair you would like to cover, think of using a piece of fabric, a solid color to create a border and frame the vintage crewel needle work, a deep brown or green to accent the colors found in the florals.
Again needle work is quickly becoming a lost art, and this vintage piece of needle work would add such age and warmth to any chair for that desk, guest room, or at a secretary.
