The illustration on the front is a past down illustration. This is the first edition done by A. L. Burt. There is a great color front page by Davis. Inside is the inscription in pencil "Merry Christmas to Eleanor from Aunty Vista."

1924 Pinocchio-A Tale of a Puppet This is a hard cover edition published by M.A. Donohue. The book is in very good condition. No breaks in the binding. The book is inscripted given as a Christmas Gift in 1924. It does not have a copyright date but would assume it would be 1924. Inscription is in pencil and says "To Maurice Stolman from Marshall and Betty Woodind-Dec. 25, 1924." It has a great cover. It was considered a classic of children's literature and was written by Italian author C. Collodi in the 1880s. Walt Disney based his 1940 feature "Pinocchio" on this book.

The book itself is in excellent condition. It looks like it was read a few times, then stored away. Edge corners slightly bumped. The 218 page book and binding are in excellent shape, with the expected minor page toning. No names or ink. The dust jacket is also good. Edge wear on dust cover with a 2" tear along the seam of book edge spine. Please look at pictures.

Emmy Lou Her Book and Heart-by Geo. Madden Martin George Madden Martin, was the pen name of early 20th century authoress, Mrs. Attwood R. Martin. This book "Emmy Lou Her Book and Heart" was first published in 1901. This is the early one published in 1902. It is in decorative light blue cloth with a picture of Emmy Lou studying at a school desk. It is in very good condition. Book binding in good shape. Book has no dust cover and is a little dirty, otherwise in great shape. This was the author's most popular book. Some very light browining of pages due to age.

There are 5 color lithographs and lots of pen and ink illustrations done by Frances Beem. It has edge wear due to normal aging. Chatterbox Soldiers & Sailors Children's Book RARE This is a 1910 Chatterbox Soldiers & Sailors edited by Anna Robinson with illustrations by Harrison Weir.

The book pages themselves are tight, however the spine is separated by can be easily repaired. There is edge wear (please see pictures). The pages are all there and no tears. The pages have the normal browing. This is a RARE book.

The Story Book of Aircraft 1935 Children's Book The Story Book of Aircraft by Maud and Miska Petersham in 1935. It was published by the John C. Winston Company. The book is cloth bound in blue. On the front cover are black titles with pastedown picture of a 16th century man trying to fly. The edges are worn, but the book spine is tight and the pages are all there as well. There are some bubbles on the edge of the back cover. Interior bright and clean. I believe this was a library book at one time.
