"A Night to Remember" 1955- Walter Lord
This is the famous book about the Titanic "A Night to Remember. The first printing was done in November 1955. This is the third printing done in December 1955. This show the popularity of this book when it came out. It was eventually turned into a movie "A Night to Remember" in 1958 Walter Lord's book kick started the renewed popular interest in this disaster which has continued until today. It is full of information, a great deal of it from the words of the survivors themselves, as the author interviewed every survivor he could find. It has an unfaded dust cover. $3.50 is marked on the flap. The book itself is in very good condition.

Bill Nye's Comic History of the U.S. -1906 Edition
This is the first printing of the second edition. It is scarce and in very good condition. Illustrated blue cloth boards with some fading and minor spine rub for age. There is an owner stamp on the front page. The frontpiece illustration is loose.
The author Bill Nye died in 1896. He was a distinquished American journalist, who later became widely known as a humorist.
