Trio Dessert Set Porcelain Bavaria
This is a 3-piece dessert set of Elfenbein Porzellan made by Oscar Schaller & Comany. It is in one of the older patterns. The company was founded in 1918 in Kirchenlamitz, Bavaria, Germany. There are zig-zag gold columns around all three pieces on a creamy background. It appears in perfect condition. I can see no utensil marks, no chips, nicks or cracks.
The flowers in the center of the cup and the dessert plate are delicate and detailed. I see no loss of gold. All pieces are marked with the Oscar Schaller & Company mark. This mark was first used in 1921. "Elfenbein" is the German word for "Ivory."
This is a beautiful trio of porcelain to add to your collection.
Circa: 1921-1940
