A great hand painted Mexican two piece example of vintage pottery. Plate is nicely designed with a bird (turkey?) on the plate in brown glaze with beige and green design.

Cover is in the shape of big turkey with intricately brown, blue and green painted design. Marked Mexico on front bottom.
Think these two pieces are a matching set, but can’t be sure. The underplate is in perfect vintage condition, the turkey has a small chip on his nose, not very noticible, but there. Nice unusual piece for the Thanksgiving holiday table.
