Haeger Potteries, headquartered just 45 miles northwest of Chicago, started as a brickyard. The company actually fired the first of millions of bricks needed to help rebuild Chicago after the great fire. Over the next 130 years under family leadership, Haeger became America's oldest and largest production pottery.
