Sails in Spring. Nora DeBolt. Painting The painting says it all as far as I can tell. This work of art has a look that makes me think about what life must have been like in Victorian times. The spring flowers. sognante . ....A wonderful original oil painting on hardboard by the artist Jacki Lee Simon titled 'sognante'. Old Barn near Hellam Pa. Oil Painting by Susan Brey A large and lovely oil painting of an old. tattered barn on a quiet back road near the little Pennsylvania town of Hellam. The artist, Susan Brey has given us a beautiful vision of a late winter's day, on a seldom-traveled road in south-central Pennsylvania.
The oil painting is large and took a lot of time to finish, but Ms. Brey's skill and patience can be seen is this impressive creation. The frame dimensions are 43 by 37 inches and the painting itself has an exposed area of slightly more than 36 by 30. The artist's signature is hidden beneath the frame, but the painting is tagged on the backing with her name and the general location where she captured this soothing bit of country scenery.

Tea with Cherry Turnovers Tea with cherry turnovers is the second painting to a pair of lovely, hand signed oil on board originals by Jacki Simon. To me, this lovely piece is full of memories of my own grand mother, just as it came to be through Jacki's memories of grandma Netti. Netti was the most incredible cook, but above all her many dishes, none were quite as heavenly as her cherry turnovers. This painting shows one of her favorite teacups and of course, those magnificent pastries.

Netti's Egg Bowl Here is a simple yet strikingly beautiful oil painting which may well bring back memories of special times and dear loved ones. Summertime - Original signed Oil Painting This talented young painter who signs his work simply, Joey S, offer for sale this lovely Oil Painting titled summertime. It is hard for a flat screen showing a duplicated picture of a flat, digital photo to truly capture the depth or the subtle colors and textures one finds when looking directly into the painting itself. The fruit, red ripe, crisp apples makes me want to eat one every time I see this still life. His choice of background coloring is as complex as it is beautiful. I love toy hear what you think of this piece. To me it is a perfect image, the likes of which one would find hanging on the wall as you enter a huge country kitchen that has been owned by the same family since the times when our nation was fresh and new and filled with the glory and beauty of a perfect summer.

City Beyond a River The third in our collection of original oil paintings on art board by Marco is the smallest, yet perhaps the most striking and visionary of the trio. The painting is hand signed by Marco in 1989. The frame will go with the artwork, but the work itself is all we chose to show. The reason? The painting speaks for itself in as many images and languages as any I have ever seen. Out of nowhere a face, a shadow, some graphic illusion appears then is gone.
