wooded butter press. Circa early 1900's carved maple Here we have a lovely hand carved antique maple wood Butter Press that dates at least back as far as the early 1900's. Although the body of this press has some cracks it remains a great accent piece and features one of the finest hand carved leaf designs I have ever seen.
This old antique butter press measures 7 inches tall to the top of the stick and the diameter is 4 1/2 inches. Really a great old hand carved butter press from the early 1900's.... or perhaps before.

Antique Treen Ware Carved Wood Mortar & Pestle, 19th C. For your consideration is this wonderful antique mortar & pestle. This piece of late 1800's woodenware is made of a very heavy, dense species of wood which looks very much to me like rock maple. There are some light wear marks to the surface and edges of each piece, as well as a number of small cracks in the wood; most noticeable along the top rim and base of the mortar. None of these cracks appear to be affecting the integrity of the piece and are most likely caused by the years this mortar and pestle spent sitting unused on a shelf in a dry storeroom of an old local pharmacy.
The mortar is seven inches high and approximately 4 inches deep. The pestle is 9 inches long...a very pretty set! Please refer to the numerous photos to get a better idea of what this great old piece looks like.

Old Green Water Bucket & spout . Drinking Water




This rare old wooden water bucket likely dates all the way back to the late 1800's. It might have once been strapped to a horse drawn wagon and used to supply drinking water to thirsty travelers. The green paint is original and really great looking. The spout did not come with this bucket, but is the type that would have been used and is also very old. The bucket stands 24 inches high and if you were to condition it, the bucket would be usable once again.

Antique wooden Milk Pail . Milking bucket. Take a look at this gorgeous old milking pail. The wood was all carved and fitted by hand and still works great after many decades have slipped by. I have not seen one of these since I was a teenager and doing some site seeing in Pennsylvania's Amish country. I'll let the pictures tell you all about this rare old piece.

Antique Coffee Grinder. Wood & Cast Iron Great looking old Coffee grinder that likely dates to the 1930's. The label is mostly in tact, but I have not been able to figure out all that is printed on it. I'm sure someone with better eyes could figure out who made it. The handle seems to be broken off at the bottom, but otherwise the old coffee mill is in great shape. Comes with the original tin can and tin lined drawer. Lovely old piece.

Old 1 Qt. Churn Style Ice Cream Maker. Salesman sample? This has to be the greatest looking old ice cream churn I've ever seen. Everything about it is great. The churn bucket still has much of it's original green paint and the ice cream maker is absolutely complete right down to the little wooden paddles on the churn mechanism. The patent dates are easy to see and end with 1918. The small size leads me to think this may have been a salesman's sample or display piece, but whatever it might have been, it is still a great looking complete and gorgeous little hand crack ice cream maker.

Solid Maple Cutting Board. Hand Made Antique Here is a marvelous old cutting board which was hand carved from a single piece of maple. The board is 16 inches wide and 18 inches long and is dished out and grooved to catch drippings. The work was all done by hand long ago. Just imagine even finding a piece of maple or any other wood these days that is over 16 inches wide and without a knot. Bet Lowes and Home Depot don't have any. Heavy and very nicely kept, I do not think this nice old cutting board ever saw much use, so maybe it's time has come?

Antique White Cedar Butter Churn . Lovely A really great looking old barrel style butter churn. Made from white cedar and pine this piece wears it age well. The old white paint on the sides is wearing away, but does a fine job of accenting the natural color of the cedar. The butter churn paddle is still working, but is somewhat loose. Antique Woven Oak Kindling wood Basket I believe this old kindling basket got used quite a lot through the years. It has been broken and repaired at least once, but still has the strength to do its job of carrying kindling wood to use in the kitchen stove. I can picture it sitting next to the old wood stove while someone prepares a hearty meal. The oak slats are very thinly cut and were soaked, then woven together giving this basket a great deal of strength. Carry your firewood or use it to hold a display of berries, this classic antique will add charm to any room of your home.

Antique Grain or Feed Scoop. Pine wood. hand made A very primitive old wooden scoop that likely was used in a barn or stable to scoop grain or some other livestock feed. I believe the wood is pine, because it is light and soft and the scoop was obviously fashioned by hand. Quite an unusual old antique grain or feed scoop that would look really nice on display.

Boycraft Antique Wooden Child's Tool box + Tools I think this is an amazing find. How many of us had our own toy toolboxes and tool kits to play with as children? Well here is a super old; super nice condition dove tailed wooden child's toolbox made by Boycraft USA with the original label still pasted to the inner lid and in at least 85% original color and condition. This hand assembled, dove tail jointed soft wood; pine or perhaps chestnut, wooden toolbox is in remarkably good condition. The box measures 18 by 5 by 8 inches deep and has the original hardware front latches and hinges. Some nails have been replaced, but not many, so all that remains is for you to think of a really great way to use and display this gorgeous Boycraft antique box. Oh, and some of the original tools are included as shown.
