This antique cast iron door knocker measures 9 1/2 Inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide. A very heavy, impressive looking piece with great Victorian designs and a large ring for knocking against the base to let your friends know there is someone at the door. We've gently steel wooled the finish to remove just a little of the dirt, but left the age patina alone. We also replaced the pin that holds the hammer or ring in place because the original was almost rusted away and we did not want your knocker to fall off the first time someone tried to use it. Not much chance that will happen for a few decades at the least |
