Here's another very heavy, well-made vintage door that really has a lot of charm. The knocker is made of cast iron and was at some point painted white. Over the years the paint has aged and the iron has begun to show some small areas of rust, but to me that is what gives this piece its charming character. Measuring 7 1/4 inches long x 3 1/2 inches at the widest point ~ this is a substantial piece that will easily be heard anywhere in the house. No there is a very nice gift idea.
