Tea with cherry turnovers is the second painting to a pair of lovely, hand signed oil on board originals by Jacki Simon. To me, this lovely piece is full of memories of my own grand mother, just as it came to be through Jacki's memories of grandma Netti. Netti was the most incredible cook, but above all her many dishes, none were quite as heavenly as her cherry turnovers. This painting shows one of her favorite teacups and of course, those magnificent pastries.
