This is a very heavy piece, which doesn't appear to have spent too many years out in the elements, but still has the look of being vintage and nicely aged. This finial is a 27 inch tall Victorian Roof ornament complete with what remains of a coat of old white paint. The ironwork is very well done, with smooth welds and strong joints. A heavy piece considering it's size and one that could certainly serve either as a roof top ornament once again, or in any other role you have in mind.
