This gorgeous old lightning ball began its life as just another white round milk glass lightning ball, but through the years the sun changed the color to this wonderful swirled amethyst. If you look closely, you can see the different shades from top to bottom and especially the swirl on the ball at the lighter end. The glass is thick and heavy and the copper end caps cover the roughness at the ends. I like to use these with a small bulb as nightlights, but however you use this antique lightning ball it will not go unnoticed.
