This is a great vintage find! Up for auction is an original art deco door bell, which requires no electricity. Pulling on the bakelite and bronze handle make a beautiful bell tone. The housing for the interior is enameled metal with a cream colored finish. The exterior pull of the door bell is all bronze with the exception of the ball on the end of the handle, which is bakelite. The enamel on the casing is in very good condition, but does have a few minor chips and minor stains. The mirror on the front of the housing shows a stain behind it. Easy to install. Directions always included. |
