Circa: 1870 Condition: used. antique. good Color: aged iron, brass and old walnut Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: Smith & Wesson Author: S&W Edition: 2
This early 1870's Smith & Wesson single action 22 revolver features a 7 shot cylinder, walnut grips, excellent barrel address markings and a great looking age patina. The gun function pretty well too, except for the lockup, which is like most of this type S&W single action, weak due to an old worn spring. The finish is a nice age patina with bits of old bluing still found in protected areas and even some brass from the frame showing through. It is getting very hard to find these old model 1, 2nd issue S&W's in decent shape and this one is much better than decent. WE ASK YOU TO PLEASE NOTE: WE CANNOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS THROUGH PAYPAL or GOOGLE FOR ANY OF OUR ANTIQUE FIREARMS. PLEASE PAY BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY. THANK YOU. JM

Please be ready to supply proof that you are at least 21 years of age if you plan to buy this gun. Also check your state laws regarding handguns. Remember, in the eyes of the Federal Government, this gun is a true antique and does not require all the paperwork that comes with buying a modern pistol, but some states do not agree, so check yours to be certain. |
