COLONIAL PAIR TABLE LAMP A nice porcelain figural lamp of two Colonial dressed people, a man wearing a yellow jacket, white with gold striped pants, carrying a black hat with a plume feather and a green blanket. The woman is wearing a red jacket trimmed in white with a white bustle, a light blue with gold design and a blue hat with blue plume feathers. The lamp is bottom stamped in red ink, Hand Painted, Made in Japan. There is a paper label which reads, Underwriters’ Laboratories Inc., Inspected, Portable Lamp, Issue No. 11656, E-24259. There is a shade with the lamp, I don’t believe it is original, but the prior owner purchased it as it still has the cellophane covering it, and it does go well with the lamp. The total height of the lamp up to the finial of the harp is 15 in. tall. The height of the figurine portion of the lamp is 7 in. and the base measures 2 ½ in. by 4 ¼ in.
 

MADDUX PLANTER IN BRASS, TV LAMP A chartreuse highly glazed planter with wide ribs, sits inside of a brass open worked base in this television lamp. The light is in back of the planter. The planter is bottom incised Maddux of Calif., Los Angeles #3006. There is a paper on the metal base which reads, Underwriters’ Laboratories Inc., Inspected, Portable Lamp, Issue No. 1377. There is a bit of pitting on the base, but does not detract from the lamp. The overall measurement of the lamp is 6 ¼ in. high, a curved 2 in. wide and 9 ¾ in. long.

ORIENTAL WOMAN LAMP A figural lamp in the shape of an Oriental woman, in a high glazed ivory color with gold trim. Dressed in native clothing and hat, she is carrying a pair of buckets across her shoulders. The figure portion of the lamp measures 8 in. high, and the base measures 3 in. dia. There is a piece of gray felt on the bottom of the lamp.
 

ORIENTAL HONEY COMB LAMP A nice tall lamp in a white honey comb pattern, with an Oriental theme. The front of the lamp is decorated with applied textured green trees over brown and white trees which stand on black and white rocks. There are openings cut into the lamp in between the different trees so the light will shine through. There is a cut out opening in which is placed a pagoda style house in red and white with gold trim. There is a free standing bridge connecting one side of the rocks to the other side. In the background on one side is a painted mountain with an active volcano. On the other side is another tree with the applied textured green leaves. There is no notch for the cord on the bottom of the lamp, hence a bit of a tilt on the standing lamp. I guess you can add a wooden base with a hole to take care of that. This, however, is a very attractive heavy lamp and it does work. Shipping weight 4 lbs.
 

BLACK PANTHER ON ROCKS TV LAMP A highly glazed black panther standing on a large rock ledge television lamp. His mouth is opened, and his tail is curled. The base of rocks is nicely molded, showing lines and curves. There is a felt bottom and is stamped, Texans Inc. B, Bangs Texas. The planter tv lamp measures 8 ¼ in. high, 5 in. wide and 10 ½ in. long.

CROUCHING PANTHER PLANTER & TV LAMP A highly glazed black panther in a crouching pose, head down and back arched television lamp. There is a planter in the front right of him, and a light in the back. Ca. 1950’s. There is gray felt on the bottom of the planter. He measures 6 ½ in. high, 4 in. wide and 8 7/8 in. long.
 

STALKING BLACK PANTHER PLANTER & TV LAMP A long sleek high glazed black panther television lamp, he looks like he is in a stalking position. There is a raised planter portion on his back, and the light is on the back of the panther. There is a bit of felt on the bottom of the panther’s paws. He measures 5 in. high, 2 ¾ in. wide at his widest point and 21 in. long. He is a long fellow, & I don’t know how he fit on top of the televisions in the 1950’s!
 

BLACK WITH GOLD SHIP TV LAMP A highly glazed black sailing ship television lamp, decorated with lots of gold accent coloring. There are 6 open portholes on the ship, so when the lamp is lit, the light shines through the portholes as well as in the back. The ship is sailing on black glazed molded seas. There is no felt on the bottom of the lamp. The ship tv lamp measures 10 in. high, 3 ¾ in. wide and 10 in. long.
 

ABSTRACT DESIGN TV LAMP A nice tall television lamp in a modern designed finished in a gold glazed color. The design has ribbed columns on each side, swirl lines on the bottom front with the top having several sizes of bubbles, and a smooth back. The tv lamp measures 12 in. high, 5 1½ in. wide at its widest point and 6 in. long.
