1850 PAIR SILVER SALTS w. URANIUM VASELINE GLASS LINERS A handsome pair of silver salts, with unusual Vaseline glass liners. The holders are formed with bands of scrollwork and foliate designs above floral swags, and sit on four lily pad similar feet. The glass liners are bespoke made, and each fits snugly one way round in its own holder only. CONDITION: age and origin of the liners unknown, no damage found to either liners or holders - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. Seller operates a 100% item purchase price money back returns policy if not completely satisfied. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1850, maker's mark "R & S" for Roberts and Slater. 1½in/3.8cm high, 3in/7.6cm long, average silver weight a little over 2½oz/75g

1891 SAUNDERS & SHEPHERD SILVER SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE A fine cylindrical silver scent bottle, with a hinged lid, inner glass liner and stopper. The bottle is beautifully chased with scrolled leafwork, flower heads of differing sizes, and further vegetal designs; the top is left plain for engraving, and the decoration is separated by plain bands around the lid, upper body and base. CONDITION: small, virtually unnoticeable dimple on one side of the lid; some light age and use wear; no cracks, hairlines, seam splits or repairs, excellent hinge and lid fit. Hallmarked for Chester 1891, maker's mark "CS*FS" for Cornelius Saunders and James Shepherd. A little over 2½in/6.4cm high.

The mug has a finely engraved anthemion handle, a repousée anthemion band to the upper section, and repousée flute banding to the lower section.
