1850 PAIR SILVER SALTS w. URANIUM VASELINE GLASS LINERS A handsome pair of silver salts, with unusual Vaseline glass liners. The holders are formed with bands of scrollwork and foliate designs above floral swags, and sit on four lily pad similar feet. The glass liners are bespoke made, and each fits snugly one way round in its own holder only. CONDITION: age and origin of the liners unknown, no damage found to either liners or holders - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. 1930s DECO DECANTER, JAR, CARAFE, FLAGON & GLASSES SET A stylish cylinder shaped, copper colour decanter, with matching glasses in three different sizes. The twelve sided decanter has a flat top stopper, rounded stepped shoulders, an alternating plain and groove cut panelled mid section - the stopper is cut in a similar fashion - and a five ring lower section. The shoulders and rings are embellished with silver bands. There are six panel and groove cut beakers, four large funnel shape shot glasses on stepped ring bases, and four similar smaller shot glasses, all are embellished with silver rings. CONDITION: one of the beakers reduced slightly in height; repolished chip to one beaker; one or two repolished and unobtrusive nicks and tiny flakes to the beakers and shot glasses; nothing further found - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. The decanter has a diagonal fan cut stopper, and eight sided panel neck; the body is cut with tapered geometric panels, the flat base and end sections allows the flask to stand at different angles. The glasses have six taper panel sides. The decanter has a tall ten panel stopper, rounded and lens engraved collar, an ovoid body, and rounded disk base. The upper section is engraved with well executed floral leaf and sprig motifs with additional ovals, the tapered lower section is cut with twelve panels. The shot glasses are engraved to clear with similar motifs to the decanter, the bowl tops sit on clear eight sided, oval panel pedestal bases.
