1937 ROSENTHAL SILVER OVERLAY PORCELAIN BOWL A splendid and impressive, midnight blue ground porcelain cabinet bowl, with fine silver overlay decoration. The well is embellished with one large and two smaller flowers with light blue stamens, as well as swirled leaves and sprigs. The scallop edge rim has a wide silver band of scrollwork and stylised leaf and anthemion designs. The under-base is finished with a plain silver band.
