| Such a unique and beautiful Heart shaped photo locket from the Art Nouveau era. The front is very slight indented giving a wonderful dimension to the piece. There are twelve multi-faceted clear diamante paste rhinestones embedded on the face with Art Nouveau stylistic etched detailing around the diamantes. The locket opens to reveal original celluloid inserts and an original photo of an elderly couple, possibly beloved grandparents of the original owner. I believe this may be a signed piece but I have not wanted to tamper with removing the photo. The locket is gold filled and in excellent condition. Measures 1-1/2 inches tall by 1 inch wide. |
