CHINESE BRASS ENAMEL PLATE "Hand made in China" on the bottom, lovely enameling. The pattern is inspired by the Chinese tale of eternal devotion. Mandarin ducks mate for life living in harmony until one dies. Legend says rather than exist in loneliness, the surviving mate soon allows itself to perish. Measures 4 1/8 in diameter and in excellent condition.
