1940's Currier & Ives Grist Mill Transferware Plate Vintage, 1940's Currier & Ives transferware plate manufactured by W S George Pottery Co, and distributed by Royal Monarch. This wonderful 10 3/8" plate features a popular Currier & Ives winter scene at the Grist Mill. We see a man in a horse-drawn wagon crossing a bridge over a creek near a rustic grist mill & water wheel. There is another man with a pair of oxen working the snow-covered land.

The plate is done in beautiful colors and has a 22K gold filigree border.. The front of the plate is in very good condition with some minor scratches. The back, however, has several discolored surface chips along the edge. (See photo 4)

A wonderful piece for the Currier & Ives collector! Made in USA.

Andrea by Sadek Square Peacock Display Plate A lovely, square peacock plate from Andrea by Sadek Japan; pattern #7949.

White center background with green and gold designs of a beautiful peacock and large roses. A wide, green border with gold flowers frames the center picture, followed by a gold greek key edge and gold rim.

Plate measures 8", and is in very good condition.

Hand painted plate with a light blue background featuring a pair of snowy white egrets on flowering branches. Signed and dated by the talented artist: "Bona H. Fortson 1964".

Colorful Bird and Floral Oriental Display Plate A pretty and colorful enamel ware display plate from China featuring a pair of pheasants among a bed of lush Chinese peonies. Print design outlining with hand painted fill-in colors and trim. Gold border with various designs.

Plate measures 10 3/8". It is in very good condition. It bears a late 20th Century Chinese mark on the back from Zhong Goo Chao Cai. Mark translated: "Enameled ware from Chao Zhou, China".

Hand Painted Toyo Decorative Display Plate A beautiful, decorative display plate made in China by Toyo. All designs on this plate are incised into the pottery, outlined and then painted in; cloisonné-style.

The delightful center scene features a horse and carriage with two riders, and the plate's border is made to resemble a braided leather belt with its gold buckle and loops at the top. A gold rim adds the finishing touch to its charm.

Plate measures 10 1/2". Stamped on back: "Not for food use. Article may poison the food. For decorative purpose only."

This hand crafted plate is in very good condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some tape residue on the back.

This is a beautiful work of art, which I'm sure had taken a lot of time & talent to produce!

1979 Limited Edition Mother Plate A 1979 Designer's Collection limited edition display plate titled "A Mother's Remembrance". Beautiful pink roses with lush green leaves and stems among a bed of tiny, white Forget-me-nots. A pair of yellow monarchs dance freely about. A touching verse in gold reads: "A Mother is the heart of home. Her understanding way, her patience, and her thoughtfulnesss mean more and more each day."

This lovely, 7 1/2" collector's plate was designed by Anne Marie Trechslin. It is a Limited Edition of 15,000, and is made of fine shellbone porcelain. It is in very good condition, with slight fading of the gold rim.

This would make a great gift for that special mother!

Black Knight Czecho Slovakia Decorative Display Plate A rare 1930's Black Knight plate with Czecho Slovakia mark. This lovely 9 1/4" plate features a white background with a stylish, footed basket filled with fruit. A trailing floral garland adds a touch of beauty to the basket. Framing the plate is a wide, black border with orange scroll designs and ten cartouches of colorful birds.

Condition: Plate has scratches and fading of the gold inner ring, as you can see in one of the photos.

Marked "Black Knight Reg US Pat Off Czecho Slovakia". Plate also bears the Czecho Slovakia green circle stamp mark.

Saji Japanese Imari Decorative Display Plate A beautiful, 8 5/8" Saji Fine China Japan Imari display plate. Center design of flowers and foliage with a flower-shaped, double inner ring encompassing the design. Panelled border of various floral and geometric designs, and a black background with gold scrolls. Rust band with gold designs and gold rim.

Plate is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. However, there are several spots of glaze peeling in the center.

Circa 1979. A beautiful plate in wonderful colors!

1985 Abigail Adams Rose Display Plate 1985 Avon Abigail Adams 9 1/8" porcelain display plate. Pale blue background with center of large, pink rose. Circle of gold vines with several scattered pink roses, and gold designs along edge. All gold trim is 22K.

Marked: 1985 Avon Source of Fine Collectibles. The Peabody Museum of Salem. Trimmed in 22K gold.

The beautiful plate is in excellent condition.

Alfred Meakin 1977 Brown Transferware Calendar Plate 1977 calendar plate by Alfred Meakin Staffordshire England. "God Bless Our House Throughout 1977." Brown transferware plate with center scene of a home on a hill by the river. There is a couple standing on the bank watching three people in a boat, while a small herd of cattle take drink in the cool water.

Wide border of the calendar months separated by Zodiac signs. Lightly raised edge with wavy rim.

Display plate measures 9 1/8", and is in excellent condition.

Old Hand Painted Homer Laughlin Child's Plate Hand painted child's display plate manufactured by Homer Laughlin, USA. Plate features polka dotted duck in a pond, and a border of colorful birds. Embossed edge.

This is an older plate, numbered K3N4. Hand painted in 1967, and signed by the artist: Linda Nall "67".

Plate measures 9", and is in good condition with a couple of flat surface chips near the rim. Chips are approximately 1/8" long.

A very cute decorative display plate to brighten up your child's room!

Grays Pottery "Dickens Days" Display Plate A 10 3/4" cabinet display plate from Grays Pottery Stoke-on-Trent, titled "Dickens Days".

Center scene in vibrant colors of a stage coach in front of a two-story home. Hand painted border in pretty magenta with gold luster glaze. Border has a pretty gold sheen when tilted in the light.

Plate is in good condition with some light crazing. Mark circa 1934-1961.

Hand Painted Royal Austria Blackberries Display Plate A beautiful, 6 1/2" hand painted and signed by the artist decorative display plate from Royal Austria.

This lovely, early 20th century plate features plump, ripe summer blackberries, large green leaves, white blossoms and gold, scroll vines, all against a rosy blush background. It has an embossed beaded border with a wavy rim and gold trim.

Manufactured by Oscar & Edgar Gutherz between 1899-1918.
