Antique Hand Painted Butter Pat - Oscar Schlegelmilch
Antique, butter pat with hand painted pink flowers and gold designs. Fluted border with brushed gold edge and lovely scalloped rim.
This 3" butter pat was manufactured by Oscar Schlegelmilch from Thuringia, Germany. Circa 1892+.
It is in very good condition. There appears to be an under the glaze burn mark beneath the manufacturer's mark on back.

Antique Limoges Butter Pats - Charles Field Haviland
A charming pair of antique butter pats manufactured by Charles Field Haviland, circa 1872-1882.
Butter pats are 3 3/8", and are completely hand painted.
The first butter pat features 3 young ladies in coats, hats, and hand warmers taking a stroll. Butter pat has a sky blue border with a gold inner ring & rim.
The second butter pat displays 3 young girls taking a stroll. They, too, are dressed in coats and hats, and have their hands inside of hand warmers. This one has a pink border with gold inner ring and rim.
Condition: The blue bordered butter pat has a chip at the rim with a thin hairline. The pink bordered one has a chip on the bottom foot. (See photos). There is fading to the pink paint, and fading of the gold trim on both.
All-in-all they appear to be in pretty good shape for their age! 127-137 years old!
