Nasco Del Coronado Gold Moriage Tea Cup and Saucer
A wonderful, vintage porcelain tea cup & saucer with opalescent luster finish and hand painted designs of gold grape clusters pairing with purple & green leaves. Each grape on these clusters are defined by raised gold outlining & a single dot, and the outer edges of the leaves & their veins are outlined in gold.
The saucer has a striking appearance with raised pinwheel swirls in the porcelain. Finishing highlights include gold, entwining vines which connect each set of grapes and leaves, and a lightly scalloped rim with gold trim. Saucer is 5 7/8" wide.
The cup displays the same striking raised swirl to the porcelain along the body & swirling all the way down to the foot. It has a lovely gold handle, and the inside of the cup's rim & foot edge are highlighted with gold sponging. The cup stands 2 7/8" high and is 4" wide.
