A very rare, elegant unmarked Fenton amber glass basket from their #1900 line. This Daisy & Button glass basket was produced between 1937-1939.
What catches ones eye first about this beautiful piece is the pair of small fans (which look like wings) adorning both ends of the basket. These "wings" have a tiny Daisy & Button design along the outer, scalloped edge.
The upper half of this basket has the lovely Daisy & Button design, while the lower half has a pretty ribbed pattern. Each "rib" consists of three vertical lines with a 3/8" space between each set.
The handle design has several creased lines along it, which gives the handle a charming bamboo-type look.
This dainty basket stands 6" tall (to top of handle). It is 6" long and 4" wide, and is in excellent condition.
