Vintage, silver-tone metal jewelry casket or trinket box with repousse image of a Victorian courting couple taking a stroll through the garden. The image is very detailed and includes background trees with long, leafy branches, a small pond, and flowers. This lovely setting is framed by a fleur de lis, scroll and rose border, and the sides of the box display ornate fleur de lis scrolls in leafy cartouche, and recessed top and bottom borders, with the top having dainty flower designs and the bottom with vertical ribbing.
The jewelry box has a red fabric interior.
Made in Japan.
