Vintage Marksman Professional Slingshot Great looking Professional Slingshot circa 1950s-1960s, with what looks like a Bakelite or Hard Plastic Gripped Handle, Buckskin Leather (Stone or Whatever Ammunition) Holder and painted iron or steel metal joiners which have a touch of rust in spots. 1951 &1960 Civil War Articles fr. LIFE & BH&G Mag Life and Better Homes & Gardens Magazines both have articles on the CIvil War that are very interesting.
For all you Collectors,I have put them together to sell at a reasonable price. The Drawings in the Life article are by famous artists and are Beautifully done! Antique Pewter Novelty Swashbuckling Sword After some research, I still can't find information on that impish little face on the handle.It looks sort of Disney but I can't find a character to match. It has been in my possesion since approximately 1970's and I can't remember where it was acquired! So your guess is as good as mine!At any rate it should fit into someone's collection. There are some metal spots that need some cleaning as shown in the photos.The blade length measures 29 inches. The blade had an aged hard brown leather case which crumbled some years back.
