Collector Bookstore is a retailer of new books located in Leavenworth, Kansas. We specialize in price guides and reference books for the antiques and collectibles industry. Mike Munves was a major distributor of electromechanical arcade games from the 1930's into the 1970's. His catalogs are now considered reference works for this unique part of Americana. This book contains electromechanical games that were enjoyed the world over long before video games existed. These are games you will never have the opportunity to see in person because they are so rare and some have disappeared completely. Includes: 1939 Catalog, 1951 Supplement, 1952 Supplement, 1953 Catalog, 1954 Price Revisions, 1954 Supplement, 1956 Catalog, 1958 Catalog, 1961 Supplement, 1962 Supplement This book also includes a full reprint of the Mike Munves mini-book Profits In Pennies 1942. This book was distributed to dealers and it explained how to run a profitable arcade business. This is an amazing look back into an almost forgotten era of arcade games. These electromechanical wonders filled arcades and thrilled children and adults until they were eclipsed by the invasion of video games, but they have not lost their charm one bit.
