This item is a Native American plaque or tray. It was made by the Hopi Indians of Arizona sometime in the 1970's. This colorful woven plaque or tray is about 10 3/4 inches across. The center design of the tray is two colored weavings in the shape of a circle with 4 protruding stubs. There is some wear and broken strands around the center of the plaque. Otherwise, it is in great shape. |
